The first step to becoming an Avid Learning Academy is to certify your teachers as Avid Certified Instructors of the Avid | First curricula. The introductory courses on which these classes are based teach the foundational skills of audio prodction and video editing respectively. In the teacher training course, you too will solidify your own working knowledge of either Pro Tools First or Media Composer First by reviewing the operational concepts, core skills, and workflows taught in this course.
This Train-the-Trainer class goes one step further. You will also learn the design of the curriculum and standard methodologies for implementing it into an academic program, plus join in discussions on best practices for teaching these topics and lessons.
